Six members of Czułość – an international artists’ group based in Warsaw, Poland – will be participating in a creation residency at Regart, centre d’artistes en art actuel, between October 20th and November 2nd. This residence will be highlighted by several participative activities with the public. The photographic works will then be exhibited in windows of the ferry neighbourhood in Lévis. The exhibition Sensibilité is an ambitious project on a human scale that brings together artists from Japan, Poland, China, Ukraine and Germany. The opening will be held on November 2nd starting at 6pm.

During their artistic residency, Nampei Akaki, Stanisław Legus, Bao Ting, Vova Vorotniov, Johann M. Winkelmann and Janek Zamoyski will be occupying the gallery at Regart for two weeks. The six artists, who have in common an approach rooted in a reflection on the photographic medium that is both irreverent and multidisciplinary, will be freely inspired by their encounters with local places and community. To encourage exchange, artists and photography enthusiasts are invited to a networking-portfolio evening at Regart on October 30 at 7pm. At the end of their residency, each member of Czułość will have a large-format photograph on display in a window on St. Laurent Street, a few steps from Regart.

Czułość is an international movement in contemporary art. It is a group of artists who explore the medium of photography and consciously limit themselves to the characteristics and meanings of the medium. It is organized as an art gallery and as a foundation of culture with NGO structure.
